제가 최근에 중국의 광저우 에서 지렁이가 도로로 나와 죽어 있다는 기사를
본 기억이 있습니다.
그들의 생활 터전을 벗어나 죽음을 스스로 선택하게 된 현상이 벌어진 이유가
인간의 환경파괴로 인하여 더 이상 생활할 수가 없게 된 것이라고 보면 되는지요?
I remember seeing a newspaper article recently that
thousands of worms lay dead on the road in Guangzhou, China.
Can we say the reason they chose to die by themselves was
they realized they can no longer live due to environmental destruction?


예, 그렇습니다. 참으로 안타까운 현실이 아닐 수 없습니다.
인간이 생활하는 데 필요한 식량의 대부분이 흙에서 나온다는 것을 아실 겁니다.
그들은 그 흙을 비옥하게 하여 많은 농산물의 성장에 도움을 주는 생물입니다.
그렇게 인간의 주변에는 인간이 의식하지 못하지만
너무나 많은 우주 만물이 도움을 주고 있습니다.
인간은 그에 대한 감사하는 마음을 가져야 하는데 의식을 못하는 것과 동시에
그들의 살 공간을 파괴하고 있습니다.
이러한 처참한 상황이 벌여졌다는 것은 인간의 환경파괴에 대한 경고입니다.
Yes, that’s it. There is no reality as pitiful as this.
You know that the majority of food stuff comes out of the Earth for human livelihood.
They make the soil more fertile and are the organisms
that give help the growth of agricultural products.
In this way so many creations of the Universe are,
even though humans are not aware of them, giving help.
Humans should be appreciative of them but they are not even conscious of them
and at the same time are even destroying the space where they live.
This kind of miserable event is a warning about human’s environmental destruction.


이를 어떻게 받아들이냐가 너무나 중요한 긴박한 상황입니다.
이를 경고로서 겸허하게 받아들이고
지금부터라도 자연환경의 고마움을 알고
지구의 모든 생물과 공유하고 있다는 사실을 깨닫고
인간 또한 그 공간을 공유하는 생물의 일원임을 인식하고
생활 습관을 바꾸어야 합니다.
자연은 곳곳에서 인간에게 경고의 메시지를 전하고 있습니다.
How they accept this reality is such an important, pressing situation.
Even from right now humans must respectfully pay attention to them,
know gratitude for the natural environment,
share nature with all the living creatures of the Earth,
recognize that humans are just one of them,
and then humans must change their lifestyle habits.
Nature is giving warning messages here and there to get this message across.


이러한 상황을 경고로서 받아들이고 각성하는 기회로 삼을 때
지구의 미래를 바꿀 수 있기 때문입니다.
그런데 안타깝게도 인간은 가야 할 길에서 너무 많이 벗어나 있습니다.
부디 지금 바로 깨어나야 합니다.
When you accept this situation as a warning
and take the opportunity for self-reflection,
the future of the Earth can be changed.
However, pitifully humans have parted so far from the road they must go along.
Please, you must become awakened now.



저는 님의 혀끝이 왜 두 개로 갈라져 있는지 그 이유에 대해서 또한 궁금합니다.
I am also curious about the reason why the tip of your tongue splits.


인간은 내면에 가진 생각을 외면으로 표현하는 데 있어 두 가지 자세를 취합니다.
자신의 생각을 그대로 표현하기도 하지만 그렇지 않은 경우도 있습니다.
파장의 세계에서는 아무것도 감출 수가 없지만 인간은 어느 정도는 감출 수가 있습니다.
인간 세상에서는 자신의 생각이 투명하게 다른 사람에게 전달되지 않기 때문입니다.
우리의 혀는 이러한 인간의 이중적인 면을 표현하고 있다고 보시면 됩니다.

When human beings express their inside externally, they take two stances.
They express their ideas as they are,
but there are times when they don’t. In the world of waves, nothing can be hidden,
but as they are humans they can hide things up to a certain degree.
In the human world, one’s ideas are not delivered transparently to others.
